Soliloquy Gaming technically started in November of 2008.  Back then, the channel wasn't organized, or really, anything more than dabbling in a cool new thing known as YouTube.  It took a few years of playing around with video recordings, editing, thumbnails, and some positive feedback before it culminated into the channel it is today.  When making videos turned from a more vague, inconsistent activity into a more serious hobby, the channel got a new name, new face, and began in earnest.  On November 13, 2014 the brand new Soliloquy Gaming launched, and has been putting out videos ever since.

In 2021, Soliloquy Gaming's mascot joined the team.  soLILoquY, or Lily for short, is a recreation of a long-time favorite avatar built when playing Saints Row 3 and 4 back around 2013-2014.   Having undergone a few refinements over the years, she tends to pop up to fill in when character customization is needed.
